Paediatric First Aid
Description
This e-learning module covers the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid qualification as part of a blended course, combining flexible online learning with practical training. Designed to fit busy schedules, it ensures compliance with EYFS requirements. Certification is awarded after completing both the e-learning and practical modules with an accredited training provider, and is valid for three years.
Online Module
The HSE allows up to 6 hours (50%) of the 12-hour First Aid at Work course to be completed online. The remaining hours must be spent on practical, face-to-face training.

Additionally, it serves as a thorough resource for English as a Second Language learners, helping them build vocabulary, language skills, and confidence to excel in practical training.
Learners complete self-checks after each course section and a final multiple-choice assessment. For quality assurance, completing the e-learning module before the practical training day is strongly recommended. This approach allows learners to clarify questions with their trainer and have their knowledge tested in class before receiving their Full First Aid at Work certificate.
Upon successful completion of both the online and practical modules, learners can instantly download their certification from the admin dashboard. This automated process saves time for trainers by eliminating paperwork, streamlining the certification delivery, and ensuring swift access for participants.
This course is officially recognised by the FAIB (First Aid Industry Body) and follows the latest UK Resuscitation Council guidelines.
